Police are searching for a girl who allegedly stole £170 in money from an intensive care nurse whereas she was buying.

The nurse was in an Aldi grocery store in Chichester, West Sussex, final Saturday, with the cash in her pocket.

As she walked across the retailer she bent down to select up some bread, and the money fell out and on to the store ground.

The suspect then allegedly picked up the cash, stashing it in her bra and leaving the scene.

When the nurse received to the checkout to pay, she realised her cash was gone. 

She paid for her groceries on a card and left the shop.
